PART A — WEBSITE, TICKETING AND EVENT TERMS

1. ABOUT THESE TERMS

1.1 These Terms and Conditions apply to tickets, registrations, attendance, event activities and eligible attendee prize draws for the Pawnbrokers & Second-Hand Dealers Expo 2026 (Expo).

1.2 The Expo is organised and promoted by National Pawnbrokers Association of Australia Inc., ABN 99 683 158 714 (Organiser or Promoter).

1.3 By purchasing, accepting or using a ticket, registering for the Public Treasure Session, or attending the Expo, the purchaser and each attendee agree to the applicable parts of these Terms. A purchaser buying for another attendee must make these Terms available to that attendee and confirms they are authorised to provide the attendee information supplied to the Organiser.

1.4 “Paid General Admission” includes an individually purchased General Admission ticket and a paid Group Admission ticket, unless otherwise stated.

1.5 “Public Treasure Session” means the free public-access session currently scheduled from 1:00 pm to 3:00 pm on Friday, 18 September 2026. Registration for the Public Treasure Session is recommended to assist with faster entry and event planning, but is not compulsory unless the Organiser later advises otherwise for capacity, safety or operational reasons.

1.6 A free Public Treasure Session registration or free public entry is not a Paid General Admission ticket and does not provide entry into the General Expo Prize Draw.

2. EVENT DETAILS, ACCESS AND TICKET INCLUSIONS

2.1 The Expo is scheduled for Friday, 18 September 2026 at Sharks Event Centre, Southport, Queensland. The current published Expo schedule is 9:00 am to 4:00 pm AEST, with networking and prize activity continuing as published by the Organiser.

2.2 Paid General Admission provides access to the Expo areas, sessions and inclusions expressly identified in the applicable ticket description. General Admission may include educational sessions, industry networking opportunities, live demonstrations, exhibitors, suppliers and other activities advertised by the Organiser.

2.3 Group Admission is a discounted form of Paid General Admission for qualifying groups and includes the same core General Admission access unless otherwise stated in the ticket description.

2.4 The Public Treasure Session provides free public access from 1:00 pm to 3:00 pm to the designated public areas and activities specified by the Organiser. Public Treasure Session access does not include restricted trade-only sessions, paid or separately ticketed activities, networking activities outside the public session, or entry into the General Expo Prize Draw.

2.5 Entry to all areas, sessions and activities is subject to venue capacity, safety requirements and reasonable directions from the Organiser, venue staff and security.

2.6 The Collector’s Table and any other separately advertised dinner, workshop, function or special event are not included in General Admission or free Public Treasure Session access unless expressly stated.

2.7 Program items, speakers, exhibitors, activities, rooms and session times may change. The Organiser will use reasonable efforts to provide an event substantially consistent with its advertised description. A minor change that does not materially alter the event will not of itself create a refund entitlement, subject always to applicable law.

2.10 Official Rick Harrison signed photographs or autograph merchandise may be available for purchase from the Pawn Expo counter while stocks last. Availability is not guaranteed and any product-specific details will be provided at the point of sale.

3. PRICES, FEES AND PAYMENT

3.1 Ticket prices are in Australian dollars. GST and any booking or payment fee will be stated at checkout where applicable. The purchaser must pay the total amount shown before a paid order is confirmed.

3.2 An order is confirmed when payment is successfully processed and confirmation is issued. If there is an obvious pricing or listing error, the Organiser may correct it and offer the purchaser the choice of paying the correct price or receiving a refund.

3.3 No separate payment is charged to enter the General Expo Prize Draw. One complimentary prize-draw entry is included as an incidental benefit of each valid, individually named and fully paid eligible General Admission or Group Admission ticket, subject to Part B of these Terms.

3.4 Free Public Treasure Session registrations, walk-in free public entry, complimentary tickets, promotional tickets, exhibitor credentials, sponsor credentials, guest passes, staff passes, volunteer passes and other admission issued without payment do not include prize-draw entry unless the Organiser expressly states otherwise in writing.

4. ATTENDEE-REQUESTED CANCELLATIONS AND REFUNDS

4.1 Paid tickets are not refundable merely because of change of mind, inability to attend, personal circumstances, transport disruption or a change in the purchaser’s plans.

4.2 Nothing in these Terms excludes, restricts or modifies any refund, replacement service, compensation or other right or remedy that cannot lawfully be excluded, including rights under the Australian Consumer Law.

4.3 Where a separately ticketed activity is cancelled or materially changed, the Organiser will provide any remedy required by applicable law. The remedy may apply only to the affected component where lawful and appropriate.

5. TRANSFERS, NAMES AND RESALE

5.1 A purchaser may request a paid ticket-holder name change before the event by contacting the Organiser. Approval may be subject to reasonable identity, security and administrative requirements.

5.2 Tickets must not be resold for profit, offered through an unauthorised resale channel, used as a competition prize without written approval, or used for advertising, promotion or commercial purposes. A ticket obtained through fraud or an unauthorised method may be cancelled, subject to applicable law.

5.3 A transferred ticket remains subject to these Terms, and prize-draw eligibility is attached to the valid, individually named attendee who actually checks in using the eligible paid ticket.

6. EVENT CANCELLATION, POSTPONEMENT AND MATERIAL CHANGES

6.1 If the Expo is cancelled and not rescheduled, the Organiser will provide the remedy required by law, ordinarily including a refund of the ticket price and compulsory fees paid to the Organiser or its authorised ticketing provider.

6.2 If the Expo is postponed, significantly relocated or materially changed, the Organiser will notify affected purchasers using the contact details supplied and provide the remedy required by law. Depending on the circumstances, this may include use of the ticket on a new date, exchange or refund.

6.3 A minor change to a program item, speaker, exhibitor, room, timetable, demonstration or other non-essential feature will not automatically entitle an attendee to a refund. Whether a change is material depends on the event as advertised, the ticket purchased and applicable law.

6.4 To the extent permitted by law, the Organiser is not responsible for costs paid to third parties, such as travel, accommodation, parking or other personal expenses. Nothing in this clause excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.

6.5 The Organiser may cancel, postpone, relocate, reschedule or modify the event where reasonably necessary because of circumstances beyond its reasonable control, including severe weather, natural disaster, fire, flood, public-health emergency, government direction, industrial action, utility or transport disruption, venue unavailability, security threat, medical emergency affecting a scheduled participant, or other emergency. The Organiser will take reasonable steps to notify affected attendees and provide any remedy required by law.

7. ENTRY, REGISTRATION AND IDENTIFICATION

7.1 Paid attendees must present a valid ticket or registration record and any reasonable identification requested for entry. Tickets may be scanned or exchanged for a badge or wristband and may not be shared after first use.

7.2 Public Treasure Session visitors may enter during the published public-access period subject to venue capacity and event procedures. Advance free registration is recommended but is not currently compulsory.

7.3 Different ticket types or registrations may be identified by separate tickets, badges, wristbands or other credentials and provide access only to the activities, times and areas specified for that credential.

7.4 Attendees must wear or display any official Expo credential when reasonably requested by the Organiser, venue staff or security. Credentials must not be transferred, shared, altered or used by another person after admission.

7.5 Late admission, re-entry and entry to individual sessions are subject to capacity, safety requirements and reasonable directions. Holding a ticket does not guarantee entry to a room or activity that has reached capacity.

8. ATTENDEE CONDUCT AND REFUSAL OF ENTRY

8.1 Attendees must comply with applicable laws, venue conditions, safety instructions and reasonable directions from the Organiser, venue staff and security.

8.2 The Organiser may refuse entry or remove a person where reasonably necessary for safety, security or proper operation of the Expo, including for threatening, abusive, discriminatory, harassing, disruptive, unlawful or intoxicated behaviour; unauthorised selling or solicitation; property damage; interference with exhibitors or other attendees; or misuse of a ticket, badge or registration.

8.3 A refund will not ordinarily be provided where refusal or removal results from the attendee’s conduct, except where required by law.

9. AGE, ACCESSIBILITY AND ASSISTANCE

9.1 Age requirements may vary for particular activities. Any licensed bar, alcohol service or activity expressly designated 18+ is restricted to persons aged 18 years or older and proof of age may be required.

9.2 A person under 18 may only attend an area or activity where permitted by the Organiser and venue and must be accompanied and supervised by a responsible adult unless the Organiser expressly states otherwise.

9.3 Attendees who require accessibility assistance should contact the Organiser as early as reasonably possible. The Organiser will work with the venue to make reasonable arrangements, subject to availability and operational constraints.

9.4 Assistance animals satisfying applicable legal requirements are permitted. The Organiser may request evidence permitted by law. Other animals are not permitted unless approved in writing by the Organiser and venue.

9.5 Companion Card arrangements and support-person access will be handled in accordance with the Organiser’s published accessibility arrangements and applicable requirements.

10. PHOTOGRAPHY, FILMING AND RECORDING

10.1 Photography and filming may occur at the Expo and may be used by the Organiser to report on and promote the Expo, NPAA activities and future events. Reasonable event notice of filming will be provided.

10.2 An attendee who does not wish to be deliberately featured should notify event staff. This cannot guarantee exclusion from incidental crowd or background images.

10.3 Professional or commercial photography, filming, interviewing, livestreaming or content production requires the Organiser’s prior written approval.

10.4 Attendees must not record restricted presentations, confidential material or another person in a manner that is unlawful, intrusive or contrary to reasonable directions. Personal, non-disruptive photography is permitted unless signage, an exhibitor or staff state otherwise.

11. PRIVACY AND PERSONAL INFORMATION

11.1 The Organiser may collect personal information provided when a person registers for, purchases a ticket to, attends, exhibits at, sponsors or otherwise participates in the Expo. This may include a person’s name, business or organisation, email address, telephone number, billing information and other information reasonably required to administer the Expo.

11.2 Personal information may be used for purposes connected with the Expo, including processing registrations and ticket purchases; issuing tickets, confirmations and credentials; administering eligible prize draws and verifying winners; providing event information; responding to enquiries; managing attendance, safety, security and event operations; and complying with applicable legal and regulatory obligations.

11.3 The Organiser may provide personal information to third-party service providers where reasonably necessary to administer the Expo, including ticketing, payment processing, event management, technology and contracted service providers. Those providers may handle personal information in accordance with their own applicable privacy policies and terms.

11.4 Personal information will not be supplied to sponsors or exhibitors for their independent marketing purposes unless the attendee has consented to that disclosure or the disclosure has otherwise been clearly notified. Where an attendee voluntarily provides contact details to an exhibitor or sponsor, including by business card, badge or QR-code scan, enquiry form or direct request, subsequent use of that information will be subject to the receiving organisation’s privacy practices.

11.5 Where permitted by law, the Organiser may use contact information to provide news, updates and information relating to the Expo and future NPAA events. Essential ticket and event communications are separate from marketing communications. Recipients may unsubscribe from electronic marketing communications at any time.

11.6 Photography and video recording may take place during the Expo and associated events. The collection and use of event images and recordings is subject to section 10 and applicable law.

11.7 Payments may be processed through third-party ticketing or payment service providers. The Organiser does not retain complete payment-card details where payments are processed directly by those providers.

11.8 The Organiser will take reasonable steps to protect personal information under its control from misuse, interference, loss and unauthorised access, modification or disclosure.

11.9 Individuals may contact the Organiser to request access to, or correction of, personal information held about them, subject to applicable legal requirements or exceptions.

11.10 The Expo website may use cookies, analytics or similar technologies to assist with website functionality, understand website use and improve the visitor experience. Third-party services may also collect information in accordance with their own privacy policies.

11.11 The Expo website and event communications may contain links to third-party websites. The Organiser is not responsible for the privacy practices or content of third-party websites.

12. HEALTH, SAFETY AND PERSONAL PROPERTY

12.1 Attendees are responsible for taking reasonable care of themselves and their belongings. Entry and re-entry may be subject to lawful and reasonable security screening, including bag inspections and checks for prohibited items.

12.2 Prohibited, dangerous or unlawful items must not be brought into the venue. The Organiser may require an item to be removed or surrendered to venue security where reasonably necessary.

12.3 Attendees bringing watches, jewellery, handbags, bullion, coins, banknotes, collectables, antiques, memorabilia, trading cards or other valuable items to the Public Treasure Session do so at their own responsibility and should maintain possession and supervision of those items unless they deliberately hand an item to a specialist for inspection.

12.4 The Organiser does not provide storage, insurance or security for personal treasures or valuables brought by attendees unless expressly agreed in writing.

12.5 To the extent permitted by law, the Organiser is not liable for loss of or damage to personal property except where caused by negligence or other conduct for which liability cannot lawfully be excluded.

12.6 Smoking and vaping are prohibited inside the venue and may occur only in venue-designated areas where permitted by law.

12.7 Alcohol service is subject to Queensland liquor laws, Responsible Service of Alcohol requirements and venue conditions. Proof of age may be required.

13. PUBLIC TREASURE SESSION, APPRAISALS, AUTHENTICITY OPINIONS AND COMMERCIAL DEALINGS

13.1 During the Public Treasure Session, participating exhibitors and specialists may provide informal opinions about items presented by attendees, including opinions concerning authenticity, condition, desirability, collectability, resale potential or current second-hand market value.

13.2 Any appraisal, market-value indication or authenticity opinion is provided by the relevant exhibitor or specialist independently of the Organiser and is for general guidance unless that provider expressly agrees to provide a formal professional service.

13.3 An informal verbal opinion does not constitute a formal written valuation, certificate of authenticity, guarantee, warranty, insurance valuation or representation by the Organiser.

13.4 Some exhibitors or specialists may independently offer written valuations, certificates, authentication services or other professional services. Such services may be complimentary or may involve a fee. Attendees must confirm the scope, cost, terms and nature of any such service directly with the relevant provider before proceeding.

13.5 The Organiser does not guarantee that every item can or will be examined, appraised, authenticated or valued. Specialist availability, waiting times, item type, condition, complexity, time limits and event capacity may affect whether an opinion can be provided.

13.6 The Organiser may introduce reasonable item limits, queues, appointment systems or time limits during the Public Treasure Session to manage demand fairly and safely.

13.7 Exhibitors, sponsors, specialists and attendees act independently when discussing or entering into sales, purchases, offers, consignments, trades, valuations, appraisals, authentication services, referrals, demonstrations or other commercial arrangements.

13.8 Unless expressly stated otherwise, the Organiser does not endorse, verify, guarantee, broker or become a party to any commercial transaction, valuation, appraisal, authentication opinion, purchase offer, sale, consignment or other arrangement between an attendee and a third party.

13.9 Any decision to buy, sell, trade, consign, leave an item for further assessment or purchase a service is made directly between the attendee and the relevant third party and is subject to that third party’s terms, privacy practices, fees and legal obligations.

14. EXHIBITORS, PRESENTATIONS AND INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY

14.1 Exhibitor participation, products, services, demonstrations and offers are subject to change. The Organiser does not guarantee the attendance or availability of any particular exhibitor unless required by law.

14.2 Presentations, session materials, recordings, photographs, branding and other event content remain the intellectual property of the applicable presenter, speaker, Organiser or rights holder.

14.3 A ticket or registration does not transfer intellectual-property rights or permit commercial reproduction, publication, distribution, sale, recording or livestreaming without permission.

15. LIABILITY, CONTACT AND GOVERNING LAW

15.1 Nothing in these Terms excludes, restricts or modifies any consumer guarantee, right, remedy or liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, restricted or modified, including under the Australian Consumer Law.

15.2 Subject to clause 15.1 and to the extent permitted by law, the Organiser is not liable for indirect or consequential loss that was not reasonably foreseeable.

15.4 The terms applying to a paid ticket order are the version presented or linked at checkout when that order is placed. Terms may be updated for future sales or to reflect event changes, but an update will not retrospectively remove rights that an existing purchaser has under applicable law or the terms applying to their purchase.

15.5 These Terms are governed by the laws of Queensland, Australia, without limiting any statutory right to bring a claim elsewhere.

PART B — GENERAL EXPO PRIZE DRAW TERMS

16. PRIZE-DRAW STRUCTURE

16.1 The attendee promotion comprises one General Expo Prize Draw containing:

(a) one Emerald and Diamond Ring; and

(b) one AUD $2,000 Helloworld Travel cruise voucher.

16.2 There is no Expo Passport, stamp collection or exhibitor-activity requirement for entry in 2026.

16.3 No separate fee is charged to enter the General Expo Prize Draw. Entry is an incidental complimentary benefit available only to eligible paid attendees under section 17.

16.4 The Promoter intends to conduct the draw as a Category 4 promotional game under applicable Queensland charitable and non-profit gaming laws. The Promoter will conduct the promotion in accordance with applicable legal requirements.

17. PRIZE-DRAW ELIGIBILITY

17.1 Subject to the exclusions below, a person receives one complimentary entry into the General Expo Prize Draw if they:

(a) hold a valid, individually named and fully paid General Admission or qualifying paid Group Admission ticket;

(b) have not had that ticket cancelled, refunded or transferred away; and

(c) personally check in and are admitted to the Expo using that eligible paid ticket.

17.2 Free Public Treasure Session registrations and walk-in free public attendees are not eligible for the General Expo Prize Draw.

17.3 Complimentary tickets, promotional tickets, exhibitor credentials, sponsor credentials, guest passes, staff passes, volunteer passes and any other ticket, registration or credential issued without payment are not eligible unless the holder separately purchases and uses an eligible paid General Admission or Group Admission ticket.

17.4 Each eligible person receives no more than one entry in the General Expo Prize Draw, regardless of how many eligible paid tickets they purchase or hold.

17.5 Event staff and volunteers are not eligible. A person directly involved in preparing the final entry list, conducting or supervising the draw, or supplying the relevant prize is also ineligible.

17.6 Invalid, cancelled, refunded, duplicated, altered or fraudulently obtained tickets or entries are ineligible.

17.7 The name in the draw record must match the entrant’s Expo credential and acceptable identification. The Promoter may correct an obvious administrative error but may reject an entry that cannot reasonably be verified.

18. ENTRY PERIOD AND FINAL ENTRY LIST

18.1 Entry into the General Expo Prize Draw commences when eligible paid General Admission tickets are made available by the Promoter.

18.2 Entry closes at 4:00 pm AEST on Friday, 18 September 2026, or when paid Expo registration closes, whichever occurs first.

18.3 The final draw list will be compiled from eligible paid-ticket records and matched against actual attendee check-in.

18.4 Free Public Treasure Session registrations, complimentary registrations and all other ineligible records will be removed before the final draw list is prepared.

18.5 Each eligible person will appear no more than once in the final draw pool.

19. PRIZE SCHEDULE AND VALUES

19.1 The General Expo Prize Draw contains the following prizes:

19.2 Total advertised retail value of the General Expo Prize Draw: AUD $25,650.

19.3 Prize values are stated in good faith as at publication and remain subject to the detailed prize descriptions and supplier conditions in Schedule 1.

20. GENERAL EXPO PRIZE DRAW

20.1 The General Expo Prize Draw is intended to commence at approximately 4:15 pm AEST at Sharks Event Centre on Friday, 18 September 2026.

20.2 The Emerald and Diamond Ring will be drawn first. The Cruise Voucher will be drawn after the ring winner has been identified, verified and recorded.

20.3 For each prize, the selected entrant must be physically present at the designated prize-draw or networking area, respond within three minutes of the announcement, and present their individually named Expo credential and acceptable identification.

20.4 If a selected entrant does not respond within three minutes, is absent, cannot be verified or is ineligible, the provisional selection lapses and the Promoter may immediately redraw. The process may repeat until an eligible winner is confirmed.

21. RANDOM SELECTION, SUPERVISION AND RECORDS

21.1 Each winner will be selected at random by a manual barrel draw from all eligible entries applicable to the General Expo Prize Draw.

21.2 The draw will be conducted by an authorised Promoter representative in the presence of an independent witness.

21.3 The Promoter will keep reasonable records of the final pool, draw method, time, provisional selections, verification outcomes, redraws and final winners and will retain records for the period required by applicable law.

21.4 The Promoter may verify eligibility before awarding a prize. Its reasonable decision is final subject to applicable law and does not exclude rights that cannot lawfully be excluded.

22. WINNER IDENTIFICATION, ONE-PRIZE RULE AND ANNOUNCEMENT

22.1 A provisional winner must show their named Expo credential and current government-issued photo identification, or another form reasonably accepted by the Promoter, matching the applicable entry record.

22.2 A person may win only one prize in the General Expo Prize Draw. Once verified as the winner of either the Ring or Cruise Voucher, that person is not eligible for the remaining General Expo prize.

22.3 Verified winners may be announced at the event and on Expo website or social channels using their name and, with consent where required, an event image.

22.4 A winner must sign a prize acknowledgement or receipt and any supplier documentation reasonably required to receive or use the prize.

23. GENERAL PRIZE CONDITIONS

23.1 Prizes are not redeemable for cash, credit or another benefit and are not transferable or exchangeable except where expressly permitted in Schedule 1, with the Promoter’s prior written approval, or where required by law.

23.2 If a prize or material component becomes unavailable for reasons beyond the Promoter’s reasonable control, the Promoter may, with the winner’s agreement and subject to applicable law, provide a similar substitute prize of equal or greater value.

23.3 Unless expressly included in Schedule 1, travel to or from departure points or venues, accommodation, meals, insurance, taxes, fees, transfers, spending money and other incidental costs are the winner’s responsibility.

23.4 A prize may be subject to supplier booking, redemption, expiry, age, identification, health, security or attendance requirements. The winner and any guest must comply with those requirements.

23.5 The Promoter may disqualify an entrant who tampers with the entry or draw process, provides false information, acts fraudulently or materially breaches these Terms or reasonable safety directions.

23.6 If an error, outage or administrative issue compromises the draw, the Promoter may pause, verify, reconstruct or repeat the affected draw in a fair and auditable manner, subject to applicable law.

23.7 This promotion is not sponsored, endorsed, administered by or associated with Facebook, Instagram, Meta or LinkedIn.

PART C — PRIZE SCHEDULES

SCHEDULE 1 — PRIZE DETAILS AND SUPPLIER CONDITIONS

A. EMERALD AND DIAMOND RING — ADVERTISED VALUE AUD $23,650

General Expo Prize Draw

The prize is one Platinum 4.47ct Emerald and 0.71ct Diamond Cluster Ring, with a total ring weight of 10.27 grams, with a valuation of AUD $23,650 provided by Symmetry Jewellery Valuation Specialist.

The Emerald and Diamond Ring is intended to be the first General Expo Prize drawn at approximately 4:15 pm AEST on 18 September 2026.

The prize is subject to any reasonable collection, identification or acknowledgement requirements notified by the Promoter.

B. HELLOWORLD TRAVEL CRUISE VOUCHER — ADVERTISED VALUE AUD $2,000

General Expo Prize Draw

The prize is one AUD $2,000 Helloworld Travel voucher, to be redeemed through Helloworld Travel towards a cruise of the winner’s choice, subject to Helloworld Travel’s applicable booking terms, conditions, availability, redemption requirements and expiry date.

The Cruise Voucher will be drawn after the Emerald and Diamond Ring winner has been verified.

Any amount exceeding the voucher value, together with travel to or from the cruise departure point, insurance, accommodation, transfers, meals not included in the cruise booking, spending money and other incidental expenses, is the winner’s responsibility unless expressly included by the supplier.
