General

Pawn Expo Australia will be held on Friday, 18 September 2026 at the Sharks Event Centre, Southport, Gold Coast.
Sharks Event Centre, Corner Olsen & Musgrave Avenue, Southport, Queensland.
Pawn Expo is designed for pawnbrokers, second-hand dealers, gold and bullion buyers, auction businesses, luxury resellers, jewellers, collectables dealers and other professionals working across the secondary market. Members of the public are also welcome during the Public Treasure Session.
Yes. The public can attend the Public Treasure Session from 1pm-3pm free of charge. Bring along watches, jewellery, handbags, gold, coins, banknotes, antiques, collectables, trading cards and other interesting items to speak with industry specialists.
Valid Companion Card holders may purchase one admission ticket and receive one complimentary companion admission for their essential support person. The companion must remain with the cardholder while attending the event.
Please note that this policy does not extend to the Rick Harrison Live event, where companion tickets are not available due to limited seating capacity.
General Admission provides full-day Expo access from 9am-4pm, including educational sessions, networking, exhibitors and industry activities. Free public entry is available from 1pm-3pm for the Public Treasure Session and public Expo experience.

Tickets & Registration

General Admission includes full expo access from 9am-4pm, educational sessions, networking opportunities, live demonstrations, prize draws and access to exhibitors and suppliers. Group tickets include the same benefits at a discounted rate.
Yes. Group tickets are available for groups of 5 or more at $39 per person. They’re ideal for teams, staff and industry colleagues attending together.
Yes, subject to availability. We recommend booking online in advance to secure your place and avoid delays on the day.

Yes. If you can no longer attend, your ticket may be transferred to another person. Please contact the Expo team before the event if you need assistance.

Tickets are generally non-refundable, but may be transferred to another attendee. For exceptional circumstances, please contact the Expo team directly. Please refer to the Refund Policy on the Pawn Expo website.
Registration opens before the Expo floor opens at 9am. We recommend arriving early to allow time for check-in.
Free public entry is available from 1pm-3pm. Registration is recommended to make entry quicker and easier, but it is not essential.A

Rick Harrison

Rick Harrison was scheduled and fully confirmed to attend Pawn Expo Australia 2026. Unfortunately, due to a last-minute medical emergency and unexpected procedure, he is currently recovering under the care of his doctors in Las Vegas and has been advised not to undertake long-distance travel.

Rick is deeply disappointed to miss the event and sends his sincere apologies and best wishes to everyone attending. He looks forward to visiting the Gold Coast when his health and schedule permit.

Yes. Official Rick Harrison signed photographs and autographs will still be available to purchase from the Pawn Expo counter during the event, while stocks last.
 

Public Treasure Session

You are welcome to bring multiple items, however during busy periods specialists may limit the number reviewed per person.

This depends on the exhibitor or specialist. Some may offer certificates, written valuations or additional services, which may be free or available for a fee. Please check directly with the relevant provider on the day.

Parking, Transport & Accessibility

Yes. Parking is available at Sharks Event Centre and surrounding areas. We recommend allowing extra time, particularly during peak event periods.

Yes. Sharks Event Centre is wheelchair accessible, with accessible entry and facilities available throughout the venue.

Yes. The venue can be reached by public transport, including bus and light rail connections around Southport. We recommend checking your route before travelling.
Please check with the registration desk on arrival regarding cloakroom or luggage storage availability.
Yes. The Sharks Event Centre is fully air-conditioned.
Accessible parking, lifts, toilets and venue access are available throughout the facility.

Accommodation

Yes. Accommodation is available at Mantra at Sharks, located within the Southport Sharks precinct and close to the Event Centre.

There are numerous accommodation options in Southport and surrounding areas. Early bookings are recommended.
Book flights and accommodation early. The nearest airports are Gold Coast Airport and Brisbane Airport.

During the Expo

Smart casual is recommended. Industry attendees may prefer business casual, while public visitors are welcome to dress comfortably.

Yes. Complimentary Wi-Fi is available.

Yes. Teams are encouraged to attend. Group Admission is available for groups of 5 or more at a discounted rate.

Selected presentations may be made available at the discretion of the speakers.

Exhibitors

More than 35 exhibitors, suppliers and service providers from across the pawn, second-hand, luxury, bullion, auction and collectables industries are expected to attend.

Yes. Selected exhibitors may have products, collectables, luxury goods and industry services available to purchase or discuss on the day.

Yes. Most exhibitors accept EFTPOS and card payments.
Some exhibitors may be able to arrange delivery, freight or shipping for purchased items. Please speak directly with the relevant exhibitor about available options and costs.

Networking & Special Events

Yes. Pawn Expo brings together pawnbrokers, second-hand dealers, auction businesses, luxury resellers, bullion specialists, suppliers and other industry professionals from across Australia.

Yes, general photography is welcome throughout the Expo. Please ask permission before photographing individual attendees, private items or exhibitor displays.

Prize Draw

Major prize draws are open to General Admission ticket holders, including individual and Group Admission tickets. Free Public Treasure Session tickets are not eligible for prize draw entry. Entry details will be provided during the Expo.
