PART A — Website & Ticketing Terms and Conditions

1. About these Terms

1.1 These Terms and Conditions apply to tickets, registrations and eligible attendee prize draws for the Pawnbrokers & Second-Hand Dealers Expo 2026 (Expo), including General Admission and the separately ticketed Rick Harrison session, Inside the Deal.

1.2 The Expo is organised and promoted by National Pawnbrokers Association of Australia Inc., ABN 99 683 158 714 (Organiser or Promoter).

1.3 By purchasing, accepting or using a ticket, the purchaser and each attendee agree to the applicable parts of these Terms. A purchaser buying for another attendee must make these Terms available to that attendee and confirms they are authorised to provide the attendee information supplied to the Organiser.

2. Event details and ticket inclusions

2.1 The Expo is scheduled for Friday, 18 September 2026 at Sharks Event Centre, Southport, Queensland. The current published event schedule is 9:00 am to 4:00 pm AEST, with networking and prize activity continuing as published by the Organiser.

2.2 General Admission provides access only to the Expo areas, sessions and inclusions expressly identified in its ticket description. It does not include Inside the Deal, The Collector’s Table, paid workshops, food, beverages, travel, accommodation or other separately ticketed activities unless expressly stated.

2.3 Inside the Deal is a separately ticketed session with Rick Harrison. An Inside the Deal ticket includes General Admission to the Expo. An Inside the Deal ticket holder must satisfy the applicable attendance requirements for each component and prize pool. Purchase of an Inside the Deal ticket does not guarantee a personal meeting, item valuation or individual interaction with Rick Harrison unless expressly included in the ticket description.

2.4 Program items, exhibitors and session times may change. The Organiser will use reasonable efforts to provide an event substantially consistent with its advertised description. It may substitute or withdraw presenters other than Rick Harrison and make reasonable changes to session topics, formats and times. A change that does not materially alter the event will not of itself create a refund entitlement, subject always to applicable law.

2.5 Any material change affecting Inside the Deal, including Rick Harrison’s appearance, will be dealt with in accordance with these Terms and applicable consumer law.

3. Prices, fees and payment

3.1 Ticket prices are in Australian dollars. GST and any booking/payment fee will be stated at checkout. The purchaser must pay the total amount shown before the order is confirmed.

3.2 An order is confirmed when payment is successfully processed and confirmation is issued. If there is an obvious pricing or listing error, the Organiser may correct it and offer the purchaser the choice of paying the correct price or receiving a refund.

3.3 Entry into an eligible prize draw carries no separate charge. The prize-draw entry is an incidental benefit of an otherwise valid eligible admission or credential and is subject to Part B, sections 15–23 and Schedule 1.

4. Attendee-requested cancellations and refunds

4.1 Tickets are not refundable for change of mind, inability to attend, personal circumstances, transport disruption or a change in the purchaser’s plans.

4.2 Nothing in these Terms excludes, restricts or modifies any refund, replacement service, compensation or other right or remedy that cannot lawfully be excluded, including rights under the Australian Consumer Law.

5. Transfers, names and resale

5.1 A purchaser may request a ticket-holder name change before the event by contacting the Organiser. Approval may be subject to reasonable identity, security and administrative requirements.

5.2 Tickets must not be resold for profit, offered through an unauthorised resale channel, used as a competition prize without written approval, or used for advertising, promotion or commercial purposes. A ticket obtained through fraud or an unauthorised method may be cancelled, subject to applicable law.

6. Event cancellation, postponement and material changes

6.1 If the Expo is cancelled and not rescheduled, the Organiser will provide the remedy required by law, ordinarily a refund of the ticket price and compulsory fees paid to the Organiser or its authorised ticketing provider.

6.2 If the Expo is postponed, significantly relocated or materially changed, the Organiser will notify purchasers using the contact details supplied and provide the remedy required by law. Depending on the circumstances, this may include use of the ticket on the new date, exchange or refund.

6.3 A minor change to a program item, exhibitor, room, timetable or other non-essential feature will not automatically entitle an attendee to a refund. Whether a change is material depends on the event as advertised and applicable law.

6.4 To the extent permitted by law, the Organiser is not responsible for costs paid to third parties, such as travel or accommodation. Nothing in this clause excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.

6.5 The Organiser may cancel, postpone, relocate, reschedule or modify the event where reasonably necessary because of circumstances beyond its reasonable control, including severe weather, natural disaster, fire, flood, public-health emergency, government direction, industrial action, utility or transport disruption, venue unavailability, security threat or other emergency. It will take reasonable steps to notify purchasers and provide any remedy required by law.

7. Entry, tickets and identification

7.1 Each attendee must present a valid ticket or registration record and any reasonable identification requested for entry. Tickets may be scanned or exchanged for a badge or wristband and may not be shared after first use.

7.2 Attendees must wear and visibly display their official Expo badge and present it when reasonably requested by the Organiser, venue staff or security. Badges must not be transferred, shared, altered or used by another person.

7.3 Late admission, re-entry and entry to individual sessions are subject to capacity, safety requirements and reasonable directions. General Admission does not guarantee entry to a room that has reached capacity.

8. Attendee conduct and refusal of entry

8.1 Attendees must comply with applicable laws, venue conditions, safety instructions and reasonable directions from the Organiser, venue staff and security.

8.2 The Organiser may refuse entry or remove a person where reasonably necessary for safety, security or proper operation of the Expo, including for threatening, abusive, discriminatory, harassing, disruptive, unlawful or intoxicated behaviour; unauthorised selling or solicitation; property damage; or misuse of a ticket or badge.

8.3 A refund will not ordinarily be provided where refusal or removal results from the attendee’s conduct, except where required by law.

9. Age, accessibility and assistance

9.1 The Expo, Inside the Deal and Networking Mixer are restricted to attendees aged 18 years or older. Proof of age may be required for entry and for alcohol service.

9.2 Attendees who require accessibility assistance should contact the Organiser as early as reasonably possible. The Organiser will work with the venue to make reasonable arrangements, subject to availability and operational constraints.

9.3 Assistance animals satisfying applicable legal requirements are permitted. The Organiser may request evidence permitted by law. Other animals are not permitted unless approved in writing by the Organiser and venue.

10. Photography, filming and recording

10.1 Photography and filming may occur at the Expo and may be used by the Organiser to report on and promote the Expo, NPAA activities and future events. Reasonable event notice of filming will be provided.

10.2 An attendee who does not wish to be deliberately featured should notify event staff. This cannot guarantee exclusion from incidental crowd or background images.

10.3 Professional or commercial photography, filming, interviewing, livestreaming or content production requires the Organiser’s prior written approval. Attendees must not record restricted presentations or use another person’s image unlawfully. Personal, non-disruptive photography is permitted unless signage or staff state otherwise.

11. Privacy and Personal Information

11.1 Collection of personal information. The Organiser may collect personal information provided when a person registers for, purchases a ticket to, attends, exhibits at, sponsors or otherwise participates in the Pawnbrokers & Second-Hand Dealers Expo 2026 (Expo). This may include a person’s name, business or organisation, email address, telephone number, billing information and other information reasonably required to administer the Expo.

11.2 Use of personal information. Personal information may be used for purposes connected with the Expo, including processing registrations and ticket purchases; issuing tickets, confirmations, Expo badges and event communications; administering prize draws and verifying winners; providing information about the Expo, speakers, exhibitors, sponsors and associated activities; responding to enquiries; managing attendance, security and event operations; and complying with applicable legal and regulatory obligations.

11.3 Ticketing and service providers. The Organiser may provide personal information to third-party service providers where reasonably necessary to administer the Expo, including ticketing, payment processing, event management, technology and other contracted service providers. Those providers may handle personal information in accordance with their own applicable privacy policies and terms.

11.4 Sponsors, exhibitors and networking. Personal information will not be supplied to sponsors or exhibitors for their independent marketing purposes unless the attendee has consented to that disclosure or the disclosure has otherwise been clearly notified. Where an attendee voluntarily provides contact details to an exhibitor or sponsor, including by providing a business card, permitting a badge or QR-code scan, completing an enquiry form or otherwise requesting contact, subsequent use of that information will be subject to the receiving organisation’s privacy practices. Badge scanning is not a condition of General Admission.

11.5 Marketing communications. Where permitted by law, the Organiser may use contact information to provide news, updates and information relating to the Expo and future NPAA events. Ticket administration and essential event communications are separate from marketing. Recipients may unsubscribe from electronic marketing communications at any time using the unsubscribe facility provided or by contacting the Organiser.

11.6 Photography, video and recording. Photography and video recording may take place during the Expo and associated events. The collection and use of event images and recordings is subject to section 10 of these Terms and applicable law.

11.7 Payment information. Payments may be processed through third-party ticketing or payment service providers. The Organiser does not retain complete payment-card details where payments are processed directly by those providers.

11.8 Storage and security. The Organiser will take reasonable steps to protect personal information under its control from misuse, interference, loss and unauthorised access, modification or disclosure.

11.9 Access and correction. Individuals may contact the Organiser to request access to, or correction of, personal information held about them, subject to any applicable legal requirements or exceptions.

11.10 Cookies and website information. The Expo website may use cookies, analytics or similar technologies to assist with website functionality, understand website use and improve the visitor experience. Third-party services used by the website may also collect information in accordance with their own privacy policies.

11.11 Third-party websites. The Expo website and event communications may contain links to third-party websites. The Organiser is not responsible for the privacy practices or content of third-party websites, and users should review the applicable privacy policies of those organisations.

11.12 Privacy enquiries and complaints. Questions, requests or complaints concerning the handling of personal information may be directed to the Organiser at info@pawnexpo.com.au or +61 405 222 660. The Organiser will consider and respond to privacy enquiries or complaints in accordance with applicable law.

11.13 Privacy Policy. These privacy provisions should be read together with the Privacy Policy published at https://pawnexpo.com.au/privacy-policy/. If the Privacy Policy is updated, the version applying at the relevant time will apply to the extent permitted by law.

12. Health, safety and personal property

12.1 Attendees are responsible for taking reasonable care of themselves and their belongings. Entry and re-entry may be subject to lawful and reasonable security screening, including bag inspections and checks for prohibited items.

12.2 Prohibited, dangerous or unlawful items must not be brought into the venue. The Organiser may require an item to be removed or surrendered to venue security where reasonably necessary.

12.3 To the extent permitted by law, the Organiser is not liable for loss of or damage to personal property except where caused by negligence or other conduct for which liability cannot lawfully be excluded.

12.4 Smoking and vaping are prohibited inside the venue and may occur only in venue-designated areas where permitted by law.

12.5 Alcohol service is subject to Queensland liquor laws, Responsible Service of Alcohol requirements and venue conditions. Proof of age may be required.

13. Exhibitors, commercial dealings and intellectual property

13.1 Exhibitors, sponsors and attendees act independently when discussing sales, purchases, valuations, appraisals, referrals, demonstrations or other commercial arrangements. Unless expressly stated, the Organiser does not endorse, verify, broker or become a party to those arrangements.

13.2 Presentations, session materials, recordings, photographs, branding and other event content remain the intellectual property of the applicable presenter, speaker, Organiser or rights holder. A ticket does not transfer intellectual-property rights or permit commercial reproduction, publication, distribution, sale or livestreaming without permission.

14. Liability, contact and governing law

14.1 Nothing in these Terms excludes, restricts or modifies any consumer guarantee, right, remedy or liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, restricted or modified, including under the Australian Consumer Law.

14.2 Subject to clause 14.1 and to the extent permitted by law, the Organiser is not liable for indirect or consequential loss that was not reasonably foreseeable.

14.4 The terms applying to an order are the version presented or linked at checkout when the order is placed. Terms may be updated for future sales but will not retrospectively remove an existing purchaser’s rights.

14.5 These Terms are governed by the laws of Queensland, Australia, without limiting any statutory right to bring a claim elsewhere.

15. Prize-draw structure

15.1 The attendee promotion comprises two draw pools: (a) the General Expo Prize Draw for the emerald and diamond ring and cruise prize; and (b) the Inside the Deal Exclusive Prize Draw for two seats at The Collector’s Table with Rick Harrison.

15.2 There is no Expo Passport, stamp collection or exhibitor-activity requirement for entry in 2026.

15.3 The Promoter intends to conduct the draws in Queensland as Category 4 promotional games under the Charitable and Non-Profit Gaming Act 1999 (Qld). Current Queensland Government guidance states that free-entry Category 4 promotional games do not require a licence.

16. Prize eligibility and free entry

16.1 General draw. Subject to the exclusions below, a person receives one free entry in the General Expo Prize Draw if they hold a valid, individually named eligible Expo admission or exhibitor credential and actually check in/be admitted to the Expo.

16.2 Inside the Deal draw. A person receives one free entry in the Inside the Deal Exclusive Prize Draw only if they hold a valid, individually named Inside the Deal ticket or eligible credential, check in to the Expo and attend Inside the Deal.

16.3 Because Inside the Deal includes General Admission, a valid Inside the Deal holder who satisfies both attendance requirements is eligible for one entry in the General Expo pool and one entry in the Inside the Deal pool.

16.4 No separate payment is charged for either draw. Each eligible person receives no more than one entry in each pool for which they qualify, regardless of how many tickets, registrations or credentials they hold.

16.5 Event staff and volunteers are not eligible. A person directly involved in preparing the applicable entry list, conducting/supervising that draw, or supplying the relevant prize is also ineligible. Invalid, cancelled, refunded, duplicated, altered or fraudulently obtained entries are ineligible.

16.6 The name in the draw record must match the entrant’s Expo badge and acceptable identification. The Promoter may correct an obvious administrative error but may reject an entry that cannot be verified.

17. Entry periods and final entry lists

17.1 Entry opens when eligible Expo registrations are first made available by the Promoter.

17.2 General Expo Prize Draw entry closes at 4:00 pm AEST on Friday, 18 September 2026, or when Expo registration closes, whichever occurs first.

17.3 The Inside the Deal Exclusive Prize Draw entry closes when admission to Inside the Deal closes.

17.4 Final draw lists will be based on ticketing/credential records matched to actual check-in and required attendance. Each eligible person will appear once in each applicable pool.

18.1 Total advertised retail value: AUD $28,650. Values are stated in good faith as at publication and remain subject to the detailed prize descriptions and supplier conditions in Schedule 1.

19. Inside the Deal Exclusive Prize Draw

19.1 No more than 180 Inside the Deal tickets and eligible credentials will be issued. The winner will be drawn from a maximum of 180 valid eligible entries; the actual chance of winning depends on the final number of valid eligible entries.

19.2 The draw will occur at the conclusion of Inside the Deal at Sharks Event Centre on Friday, 18 September 2026. Based on the current 1:00–2:00 pm schedule, this is expected to be approximately 2:00 pm AEST.

19.3 The selected entrant must be present, respond within three minutes of the announcement and present their individually named Expo badge and acceptable identification for verification.

19.4 The selected entrant must immediately confirm that both they and their guest can attend The Collector’s Table at 6:30 pm that evening and satisfy the applicable guest/age conditions. If the selected entrant does not respond, cannot attend, cannot be verified or is ineligible, the provisional selection lapses and an immediate redraw will occur. The three-minute verification process may repeat until an eligible winner is confirmed.

20. General Expo Prize Draw

20.1 The General Expo Prize Draw will commence at 4:15 pm AEST during the Networking Mixer/Event at Sharks Event Centre on Friday, 18 September 2026.

20.2 The emerald and diamond ring, valued at AUD $23,650, will be drawn first. The cruise prize, valued at AUD $2,000, will be drawn after the ring winner has been identified, verified and recorded.

20.3 For each prize, the selected entrant must be physically present at the Networking Mixer/Event, respond within three minutes, and present their individually named Expo badge and acceptable identification.

20.4 If a selected entrant does not respond within three minutes, is absent or is ineligible, the provisional selection lapses and the Promoter will redraw. The process may repeat until an eligible winner is confirmed.

21. Random selection, supervision and records

21.1 Each winner will be selected at random by a manual barrel draw from all eligible entries applicable to that prize.

21.2 Each draw will be conducted by an authorised Promoter representative in the presence of an independent witness. The Promoter will record the final pool, draw method, time, provisional selections, verification outcomes, redraws and final winners, and have the draw record signed by the Promoter representative and witness.

21.3 The Promoter will retain draw records for the period required by applicable law. Under the Queensland Act currently reviewed, persons required to keep general gaming records must retain them for five years after the end of the game.

21.4 The Promoter may verify eligibility before awarding a prize. Its reasonable decision is final subject to applicable law and does not exclude rights that cannot lawfully be excluded.

22. Winner identification, one-prize rule and announcement

22.1 A provisional winner must show their named Expo badge and current government-issued photo identification, or another form reasonably accepted by the Promoter, matching the applicable entry record.

22.2 A person may win only one prize in the General Expo Prize Draw. Once verified as the winner of either the ring or cruise, that person is not eligible for the remaining General Expo prize. Winning the Inside the Deal Exclusive Prize Draw does not affect eligibility for the General Expo Prize Draw.

22.3 Verified winners may be announced at the event and on Expo website/social channels using their name and, with consent where required, an event image.

22.4 A winner must sign a prize acknowledgement/receipt and any supplier documentation reasonably required to receive or use the prize.

23. General prize conditions

23.1 Prizes are not redeemable for cash, credit or another benefit and are not transferable or exchangeable except where expressly permitted in Schedule 1, with the Promoter’s prior written approval, or where required by law.

23.2 If a prize or material component becomes unavailable for reasons beyond the Promoter’s reasonable control, the Promoter may, with the winner’s written agreement and subject to applicable law, provide a similar substitute prize of equal or greater value.

23.3 Unless expressly included in Schedule 1, travel to/from departure points or venues, accommodation, meals, insurance, taxes, fees, transfers, spending money and other incidental costs are the winner’s responsibility.

23.4 A prize may be subject to supplier booking, redemption, expiry, age, identification, health, security or attendance requirements. The winner and guest must comply with those requirements.

23.5 The Promoter may disqualify an entrant who tampers with the entry/draw process, provides false information, acts fraudulently or materially breaches these Terms or reasonable safety directions.

23.6 If an error, outage or administrative issue compromises a draw, the Promoter may pause, verify, reconstruct or repeat the affected draw in a fair and auditable manner, subject to applicable law.

23.7 This promotion is not sponsored, endorsed, administered by or associated with Facebook, Instagram, Meta or LinkedIn.

 

PART B — Prize Schedules and Publication Checklist

Schedule 1 — Prize Details and Supplier Conditions

A. Emerald and Diamond Ring — Advertised Value AUD $23,650

General Expo Prize Draw

The prize is one Platinum 4.47ct Emerald and 0.71ct Diamond Cluster Ring, with a total ring weight of 10.27 grams, valuation of AU$23,650 provided by Symmetry Jewellery Valuation Specialist.

The Emerald and Diamond Ring is intended to be the first General Expo Prize drawn at approximately 4:15 pm AEST on 18 September 2026.

B. Cruise Prize — Advertised Value AUD $2,000

General Expo Prize Draw

The prize is one AUD $2,000 Helloworld Travel voucher, to be redeemed through Helloworld Travel towards a cruise of the winner’s choice, subject to Helloworld Travel’s applicable booking terms, conditions and availability.

The Cruise Prize will be drawn after the Emerald and Diamond Ring winner has been verified.

C. The Collector’s Table — Two Seats — Advertised Value AUD $3,000

Inside the Deal Exclusive Prize Draw

The prize is two seats at The Collector’s Table, an exclusive group dinner limited to 42 attendees, to be held on Friday, 18 September 2026 at 6:30 pm. The venue will be advised prior to the event.

The prize includes:

• Two seats at the exclusive Collector’s Table dinner.
• A three-course set menu with drinks.
• An intimate group dining experience limited to 42 attendees.
• Approximately two and a half hours of dining and event experience.
• Black tie dress code.

The winner must be present at the Inside the Deal session when the prize is drawn to claim the prize.

The prize is non-transferable and cannot be exchanged for cash, credit or another benefit. Transportation to and from the venue, parking and any other personal or incidental expenses are not included.

Where alcoholic beverages are included, the winner and accompanying guest must each be 18 years of age or older.
